We believe in the Scripture of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings, and that they are the supreme and final authority in faith and life. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21; Acts 1:16; Isaiah 8:20)

We believe in one eternal God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (II Corinthians 13:14)

We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, was born of a virgin mother and is very God and man (Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-45; John 1:1-14)

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God but that, in Adam's sin, the race fell, inherited a sinful nature and became alienated from God; and that man is totally depraved and of himself, utterly unable to remedy his lost condition. (Genesis 1:26,27; Romans 3:22, 23; 5:12; Ephesians 2:1-3, 12)

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood. (Leviticus 7:11; Romans 4:24-26; II Corinthians 5:21; Ephesians 1:7; John 14:6; Acts 4:12)

We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, His ascension into heaven and His present life there for us, as High Priest and Advocate, (Acts 2:22-27; II Timothy 2:8; Hebrews 9:24; I John 2:1-2) and His personal, pre-millennial, and imminent return. (Acts 1:11; I Thessalonians 4:15-17)

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Divine Person who in His relationship to the unbelieving world convicts of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; and that by His agency all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again and become partakers forever of the Divine Nature; that He endues, guides, teaches, sanctifies and helps that believer. (John 14:16-17; John 14:26; John 16:8-11; John 16:13; Romans 8:26-27)

We believe the scriptures teach the importance of walking in the Spirit, being filled with the Spirit, and led by the Spirit into a life of separation from the world. (Galatians 5:16; Ephesians 5:18; II Corinthians 6:14-18; I Corinthians 9:25-27)

We believe that the relationship of one believer in the church, which is the body of Christ, should not be impaired by contention, and that we are responsible to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, rising above all sectarian prejudices and denominational bigotry, and loving one another with a pure heart fervently.

We believe that God created mankind, male and female, in His own image. We believe that marriage has been instituted by God. This church defines "marriage" as the exclusive covenantal union of a man and a woman in which such union is a lifetime commitment. A civil government's sanction of a union will be recognized as a legitimate marriage by the church only to the extent that it is consistent with the definition of "marriage" found in these Articles (Genesis 1:27; 2:23-25; Hebrews 13:4; Matthew 19:4-9; Deuteronomy 24:1; Mark 10:6-12; Leviticus 18:22; I Corinthians 6:9-10; Romans 1:24-29).

We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ has left two ordinances to be observed by the church in commemoration of His person and work. They are believer baptism and the observance of the Lord's Supper by believers.
